If you are using Fidelity to complete day trades it is nice to know how many completed trades have gone through. This will help to avoid being flagged as a pattern day trader if your account has a balance less than $25,000. Unfortunately, the Fidelity mobile app does not yet support a day trade counter yet, but the website does. The instructions below are for checking day trades completed on a Fidelity individual brokerage account with margin active.

  1. The first step is to login to your Fidelity account.
  2. Once logged, in hover the mouse over the Accounts & Trade, then click on the Portfolio Link

You will now see the amount of day trades that have been completed under Day Trade Counter. In the above example it has the number three listed, this means that three day trades have been completed. If the number was zero, it would mean that zero day trades have been completed, and three would be remaining.
