Chase College Checking, $0 Monthly Service Fee when you have any ONE of the following:
- Up to five years while in college.
- Direct deposit made to this account. Direct deposits can be an ACH credit, payroll, pension or government benefits such as Social Security.
- An average ending day balance of $5,000 or more in this account
- Minimum Deposit to Open: $25.00
- If not in college or satisfying the other requirements, $6.00 fee assessed monthly.
- For college students 17–24 years old at account opening, when proof of student status is provided.
Chase High School Checking, $0 Monthly Service Fee when you have any ONE of the following:
- A linked personal parent/guardian checking account.
- A direct deposit made to this account. Direct deposits can be an ACH credit, payroll, pension or government benefits such as Social Security.
- An average ending day balance of $5,000 or more in this account.
- When the student turns 19, the Chase High School Checking account will become a Chase Total Checking account with a $12.00 monthly maintenance fee.
- For students 13–17 years old at account opening with their parent/guardian as a co-owner and the account must be linked to the parent/guardian’s personal checking account. Linked accounts exclude Chase High School Checking and Chase College Checking
